Preparing for Thanksgiving

The first weekend of November we traveled up North again this time for Josh to give a Bible course for WGM's theological education program. Thankfully the class went well and we had no problems on our trip.

Last Saturday we went to the orphanage to the birthday party of one of the girls. There we were greeted by the cutest group of kids you have ever seen. We wish we could adopt several of them, but that wouldn't be fair to the other kids. We have been spending time with them once a week playing and helping out with homework. They have captured our hearts and we look forward to our several hours with them every week.

Currently, we are preparing for company. Josh's family is coming for the week and will be here to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. We are going to have a huge Thanksgiving dinner the Friday after Thanksgiving for our church and our friends. It will be a time to thank God for what he has done for us this year. Please pray that we will have a good dinner and that it would be a great time of fellowship for everyone involved.

It's neat to see your consistent involvement with the kids at the orphanage amongst all the other things you do! It warms my heart (for obvious reasons). Enjoy your time with your family!
